  • oh wanted to comment on the jumping for joy of the security/anti-virus companies, i don't think they would be since boot camp just lets windows run on a mac, meaning they might just sell a small % more copies to anybody that runs windows regularly often on their mac.

  • I apologize if I came off insulting, I just think the wording of the post comes off misleading. It just sounded like having Boot Camp could open up security holes in your mac. I do have some thoughts for the discussion though.

  • Seems like more of a bad feature than a vulnerability, removing the open safe files feature should probably be disabled and removed to prevent easy breaking in the future.

  • The vagueness of the patent is ridiculous. there's so much prior art that this will probably fall through. Is it just me or does the US patent office hand out ridiculous patents like candy?
